These are the words we lean on when we talk about studios, live tables and offers. Keep them handy while reading the comparison.

Game studio / provider: The company that builds the slot or live table software (for example NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Games Global). The casino operator licenses that content; it does not usually invent every title in-house.
UKGC: The UK Gambling Commission — the regulator for gambling in Great Britain. A remote licence means the operator must follow UK player-protection rules, including tools like deposit limits and participation in GamStop.
Live casino / live dealer: Real-time table games streamed from a studio, with a human dealer. Outcomes come from physical cards or wheels, not a slot-style reel math model.
RTP: Return to Player — a long-run statistical average of how much a game returns to players as a group. It is not a prediction for your next session.

Wagering requirement: How many times you must stake bonus funds (or bonus + deposit) before you can withdraw related winnings. Always check game weighting — some titles contribute less than 100%.
Welcome offer type: The shape of a new-player promotion: deposit match, free spins, a package, or a no-wagering spin set. We name the type; we do not treat any offer as guaranteed value.
Progressive jackpot: A prize pool that grows as players across a network stake on linked games until someone hits the trigger condition defined by the studio.
GamStop: The free national online self-exclusion scheme for GB-licensed operators. Once registered for a chosen period, those sites must block your access.
Affiliate link: A tracked URL. If you register through it, the comparison site may earn a commission. It does not change the operator’s licence or your consumer rights.
RNG: Random Number Generator — the software system that drives outcomes on non-live games. Licensed operators must use tested RNG implementations.
